We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the last workshop this academic year, “Scientific Criticism and Peer Review”. In this session, René Bekkers will offer a hands-on introduction to the process of reviewing scientific papers. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how peer review works as a quality assurance mechanism in science, learn to recognize both effective and problematic review practices, and reflect on ways the peer review system can be improved. For further details about this workshop, click here. Please note that the workshop will be exclusively in-person on June 6, 2025. We look forward to seeing you in Eindhoven!
You can also take this opportunity to attend both the workshop and the PYMS Symposium at Tilburg University, which will take place the day before, on June 5. More information about the symposium is available at: https://youngmetascientists.github.io/symposium2025
You can register for this workshop by completing the Registration Form. Please make sure to register before May 12th. Priority will be given to those who are members at Paul Meehl Graduate School. If you wish to become a member, please check the membership criteria on this page.
